Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Manufacturing Software Engineers for open positions in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position is responsible for the design, implementation, verification and validation of software used in manufacturing.

Job Duties:

• Execute software design, implementation and code review
• Create software unit test, verification and validation documentation
• Conduct software unit test, verification and validation
• Software version control and defect management

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required, plus 3+ years’ experience
• Experience with C#/SQL/Visual Studio (be able to understand/generate classes and convert to/from C)
• Ability to analyze source code and generate documentation that provides clear and concise view of structure and data flow
• Experience with test equipment in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience with writing code that interfaces with serial devices via RS232 and/or USB is a plus
• Experience in medical device manufacturing environment is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal while being enthusiastic, motivated and self-driven
• Flexibility in task assignment, willingness to switch tasks as needed based on a fast moving work environment
