NX Designer Vehicle Exteriors, Body, Hoods, Doors, Fairings

Description:
Develop and design futuristic prototype truck exteriors of the cab, body, hoods, doors, fairings. This is an advanced engineering concept group that pushing the limits of vehicle development.

* Development and design of NX surfaced models with complete B-side surface detail based upon complex surfaces received from external groups; includes draft analaysis
* Design of prototype mounting schema for testing purposes.
* Design of sheet metal parts and welded fabrications in NX
* Optimization of mechanical fasteners and bonding solutions for metal-to-metal, composite-to-composite, and metal-to-composite joints to create the prototype vehicle.
* Creation of NX detail drawings for parts and assemblies including thorough application of GD&T when needed.
* Collaborate with clients internal engineering and design groups
* Collaborate with suppliers to optimize prototype designs

Basic Qualifications
* 8000+ hours NX design of surfaced and solid models
* Mechanical Engineering degree with 3+ years of surfacing experience (or) 5-7 years of automotive body in white, interior design experience.
