Manufacturing Engineer Sr GA

Description:
In this role, you'll bring to the table proven methodology that increases productivity by introducing efficient, reliable and LEAN solutions as you evaluate complex manufacturing processes. Day to day, you’ll be engaged in the following: conducting process audits/analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with suppliers and soliciting observations from operators & production technicians with the goal of improving our manufacturing process while reducing costs and increasing profits.

Ideal candidate will have hydraulics, precision machining, and automation experience in a manufacturing environment, formal six sigma training (preferably Black Belt) a solid knowledge base and understanding of lean principles and demonstrated ability developing and maintaining labor standards.


Required: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Six or more years experience.


Preferred: Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Society of Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering certification.
