6+ month contract

Experience Level: 2-4 years preferred
Education: Prefer bachelor Degree in Technical field. Minimum Associate Degree in Engineering or Technical Designation such as an Airframe & Power plant mechanic with strong project management skills & heavy experience.





Responsibilities:

Review, assess, organize, plan schedule, monitor & track workload for Commercial Aviation After Market Technical Services (AMTS) Publications SR Tech writers, illustrators and structures engineers. Coordinate & communicate with AMTS managers, leads, supervisors, Tech Writers & Illustrators, Structures Engineers. Coordinate preparation of the following documents types: AMM EMM IPC IPL IPD CMM SRM.



Skills:

- PMBOK familiarity, PMP desirable but not required.

- Aerospace After Market Technical Services experience is very desirable.

- Commercial Airliner After Market Experience is especially desired.

- Ability to define, track, document multi-discipline project tasks.

- Ability to prepare schedules with resources and budget/costs.

- Knowledge and experience of MS Project

- Analytical problem solving skills, motivated & team orientated.

- Experience of Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement.

- Very strong written & verbal skills.

- Ability to understand 2D drawings and visualize 3D.

- Experience with technical presentation to internal & external customers.

- Knowledge of contracts and specifications.

- Good understanding of Aerostructures design (structures & systems)

- Knowledge and experience with CATIA V5 a very desirable asset.

- Good understanding of Aerospace Aftermarket support manuals.

- General understanding of Aerospace Stress & Repair Engineering.

- Good understanding of basic materials & processes.

- Familiarity with contractual language.

- Experience with Technical Specifications, Structural Repair Manuals.

- Experience with Illustrated parts catalogues & service bulletins.

- Aftermarket skills to understand define scope and process map future

- Understand field in service problems/inquiries.

- Be able to provide innovative, practical solutions to resolve schedule issues.
