Hydraulics Design Engineer (Rep: Albert)

Description:
Hydraulics Engineer
Need experienced hydraulics design engineer that is somewhat of a subject matter expert with the ability to design hydraulic components for the aerospace industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Program and design responsibilities, including the accountability for and development of new design configurations, including interfacing with customers,
• interfacing with manufacturing, vendors, qualification test.
• Drive engineering design and development process improvements. Lead design reviews and approve design and analyses.
• Team member in marketing efforts and business development. Interface with customers to understand needs.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
• BSME, BSAE, w/ 5 or more years’ experience as follows:
• Aerospace hydraulic component design. Primary, secondary, or utility components (Valves)
• Design and development of hydro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic components including actuators and flow-control valves.
• Experience in component design layout and modeling, detail design and drafting per ASME Y14.5, analysis, and qualification test.
• Understanding of manufacturing and assembly methods.
• Working knowledge of aircraft systems and the effects of hydraulic components on system operation and performance.
• Knowledge of industry design practices to predict component reliability, working knowledge of reliability analysis, fault-tree analysis, FMEA, FMECA,
• durability analysis, damage tolerance analysis, and wear analysis.
