Test Engineer - Level 3

Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: DOE ($55/hr - $60/hr)
Duration: 1 year contract
Shift: First
*Must be a U.S. Citizen*
*Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance*

Job Description:
-Engineer will be responsible for implementing cyber security controls on the F/A-18 IRST Test Equipment.
-There are 109 compensating controls that range from computer controls, to physical access to configuration data management.
-This engineer will need to work with IT specialists to implement the computer controls on the test stations and then run each test software package with the flight hardware to verify that implementation of these controls did not break the test software.
-Engineer needs to have a working knowledge of National Instruments TestStand software.
-Labwindows CVI and Labview experience is a plus.

Mandatory Skills:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
-Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
-Requires experience in designing Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), test station and ITA schematic design and layout.
-Design of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB).
-Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical and Electro-Optical principles to be applied to Test Station Solutions (6-8 years)
-Knowledge of electrical engineering principles to be applied to product design (4-5 years)

Desired Skills:
-Flight hardware (i.e. the product) design.
-High-speed communication.
-Troubleshooting flight hardware.
-Programming in National Instruments TestStand, LabWindows/CVI and Labview FPGA.
