Test Software Engineer

Description:
Job Description: 9/80 Work Week
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience writing Test Software to contribute to the success of the Space Products Strategic Business Unit. The software engineer will be a member of a team responsible for creating robust software applications for testing leading edge space communication products for government and civilian applications. Responsibilities include designing, coding, documenting, and testing LabVIEW and TestStand applications. General knowledge of instrument control, test and measurement system development, as well as test equipment configuration is desirable.

Required Competencies/Skills:
• Experience developing LabVIEW and TestStand applications to test product hardware
• 5+ years of Test Software Development and Test Automation experience
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, counters, DMMs, and PXI test equipment
• Basic knowledge of circuits, schematics, and hardware design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Minimum of BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar Qualifications

Preferred Competencies/Skills:
• Experience with LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA
• Experience using software version control tools (Perforce, git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience developing and implementing acceptance test procedures, production test plans, and test documentation from design requirements
• Certified LabVIEW Developer
• Certified TestStand Developer
