HVAC Technician

Description:
The HVAC Technician’s primary function is to maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair all types of building equipment and HVAC / Electrical Systems to the customers' satisfaction. Assists other mechanics and technicians occasionally in aspects of building maintenance. Confer with customers to ensure completion of all tasks in a satisfactory manner.

Responsibilities:

> Maintain, install, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and HVAC systems.
> Perform general building and office repairs and office relocation tasks.
> Read and interpret blueprints and building drawings.
> Collect data on various types of equipment.
> Conduct periodic building walk-through to locate problems; perform minor carpentry, drywall and painting.
> Practice good housekeeping and safety standards & Total Quality principles and concepts.

Qualifications:

> 3+ years related experience with a high school diploma and/or related technical education and training.
> Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification is required
> Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems AND HVAC systems.
> Ability to make general mechanical repairs.
> Good verbal and written communication skills.
> Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
> Knowledge of HVAC principles and National Electrical Codes (NEC).
