Description:
Location: Centennial, CO
Duration: 3 month contract (possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: DOE
Overtime: Exempt

Job Description:
- Strength Engineers to conduct strength analysis for structural design for the launch vehicle upper stage.
- The strength analysis will include finite element analysis and hand calculations of components, small assemblies, and large assemblies.
- Finite element analysis will use NASTRAN/FEMAP.
- Familiarity with non-linear analysis and material plasticity using NASTRAN and ABAQUS.
- Knowledge of super-elements will aid in efficient non-linear analysis.

Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4 -8 years of experience.
- Need candidates with 5 years of experience.
- Must have 3+ yrs experience with Nastran/Femap.
- Prefer aerospace industry background.
