NX Wire Harness Design Engineer

Description:
Seeking a CAD Engineering Designer in Hawthorne, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Placement and support design for Vehicle Instrumentation suite Design and routing of wiring harnesses and mechanical configuration of top-level assemblies 3D Design and Routing of wiring harnesses using the NX Electrical workbench 2D Creation and annotation of wire harness Formboard production drawings Creation and revision of mechanical top-level assemblies using NX/Teamcenter Use of Teamcenter for revision control and ECN release of drawings/models

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience in the electromechanical wire harness design within a 3D CAD environment using NX electrical tools and Formboard Proficient using NX and Teamcenter

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of basic instrumentation
3D Harness design using the NX Electrical Workbench Wire harness formboard creation and annotation using NX Formboard tool 3D modeling and configuration control of complex top-level assemblies using NX/Teamcenter Creation of 2D wiring diagrams and Schematics, Experience of 3D modeling of Avionics enclosures and secondary structure supports a bonus Experience using Teamcenter for revision control and ECN release of drawings Strong team working skills with a proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate with other engineering disciplines and excellent attention to detail

Bachelors degree in engineering
