Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Description:
•Maintain BOMS or other engineering data for complex fuel and/or hydraulic system installations.
•Interface with Suppliers and support supplier requirements analysis and requirement gap analysis
•Maintain Interface Control Document (ICD) between equipment hardware and aircraft
•Additional responsibilities may include generation of preliminary design schematics, performing requirement gap analyses of existing hardware and components.
•Support generation of verification and test plans.
•This position will support through the program’s PDR and may be extended through CDR

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
•5+ years post graduate engineering experience.
•Due to export compliance, must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful U.S. Permanent Resident.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Must have demonstrated ability to organize and present engineering information, such as Bills of Material, preliminary design schematics, and requirement gap analyses

Desired Qualifications:
•Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
•Experience in design and selection of aerospace components.
•Knowledge of ProEngineer/Creo.
•Experience in writing test plans, procedures and reports.
