Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
A Manufacturing Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Peabody, MA. This is a short-term contract assignment onsite at our large aerospace MRO customer. Great matching candidates will have 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a jet engine MRO and/or aerospace environment.

Manufacturing Engineer job duties:
* Review process sheets/process cards
* Review associated routings
* Ensure both above are still in compliance with the qualification packages for each part number
component repaired at facility
* Once gaps are identified between instructions and processes, work on resolution to bring to
compliancy

Qualifications:
* 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with jet engine maintenance, repair, and
overhaul (MRO)
* Ability to proficiently read and interpret engineering documentation (prints, specs, manuals)
* Organization skills (to track and document findings)
* Seamless Communication (ability to summarize findings to engineering/site leadership)
* Teamwork oriented (ability to work collaboratively with Collins manufacturing & quality engineers
on site)
* Legal authorization to work in the US required
