Job Title: Engineer, Analysis / Systems Engineering (Aero Thermal Fluids) Level III

Duties:
** Candidates must be U.S. Citizens **

-Analysis and Design of aerospace propulsion systems at the component and system levels, specifically addressing liquid rocket engines.

-Work will require use of heat transfer analysis tools, along with related fluid dynamic and combustion tools.

-Work with ATF Lead engineers and other senior engineers in a team setting to accomplish defined goals.

-Conduct thermal and fluid analyses related to the design, test and verification of liquid rocket engines.

-Specific job assignments may entail analytic modeling, defining thermal and fluid boundary conditions and conducting computer simulations to assess the thermal response and performance of engine hardware.

-Additional responsibilities may include pre- and post-test analysis including data analysis of test results.

-Further requirements include documentation of Program and ATF Discipline results.

Skills:
Required:

-Relevant college coursework in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.

-2 to 4 years of related professional experience.



Desired:

-M.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.

-Advanced college coursework in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.

-Propulsion analysis experience in liquid rocket engine or gas turbine engines.
