Keys to Successful JobHunting

We are here to help you find work as a contractor. But, we strongly urge you to take advantage of all our resources. You have already taken an important step by becoming a member. Now jump to the next level by taking the following five steps:

STEP 1, Online Resume: Add your resume to our online database by going to "Members/Resume/Online Resume" page. Upload both text and formatted resumes. If you have difficulty doing that, you can email them to us and we'll upload them for you. This will cause your resume to be emailed to every company that advertises on ContractJobHunter and in Contract Employment Weekly (well over 500 contract staffing firms). Also... make sure that you keep your online resume(s) current.

STEP 2, EZjobs Setup: Go to the CJHunter home page and click on "EZjobs Setup." Once you have entered and "saved" your search keywords, you are ready for advanced job searches. Make sure that you check the box instructing us to send you daily email notification of newly posted jobs matching your keywords. Now you can do quick job searches by just selecting "EZjobs Search" on our front page.

STEP 3, Online Profile: While you are in your "Online Resume" page, take a few minutes a create your "Personal Profile".

STEP 4, Hot Sheet: If you are currently unemployed, or have received your layoff notice... submit a listing for our "Hot Sheet". You can be listed on the "Hot Sheet". once every month (at no cost to you).

STEP 5, E-Resume Job Search: Each time you do a search, using your stored keywords, simply click on the "EZjobs Search" button on our front page. You then have the ability to "one-click" your online resume to every firm (or those you select) from that search. A reference to the job, for which you are applying, will be attached to your resume.
