Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.


Mandatory:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent experience).
-5+ years experience with composite main-rotor blade system; experience with UH-60M systems highly desired
-3+ years conducting Bond Cycle Certification for blade bonding tools.
-Proven track record troubleshooting blade-level faults
-Must have experience using SAP and Solumina

Desired:
-SAP
-Six Sigma Green Belt, AS9100 auditor, or similar quality?system credentials.
-Experience with UH-60M systems main-rotor blade system
PPE: Eye and ear protection to be provided onsite

Job Description
This position monitors every phase of the software development process to ensure design quality, making sure that the aircraft delivered software adheres to the standards set by the development company and satisfies regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 11 years directly related work experience with aerospace/defense industry software processes (such as RTCA DO-178c, RTCA 278a, RTCA DO-254, SAE ARP-4754, MIL-STD-498, etc.)
• Experience with government customers projects preferred.
• Experience with FAA projects preferred.
• Must demonstrate basic understanding of audit techniques.
• Must demonstrate basic understanding of software development methods and software testing methods.
• Must have the ability to interpret schematic drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of systems & software processes.
• Experience in software requirements development.
• Software design and coding (C/C++, Ada, or other embedded programming languages)
• Embedded software/hardware verification background or knowledge
• Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
• Interface with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, and project managers.
• Must work well in a team environment, have excellent customer interface skills, have effective interpersonal skills.
• Must quickly come up to speed with the software process auditor work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule.
• Review and approve systems, software and test equipment requirements, design and test documentation for compliance to process requirements and standards.
• Participate/interface with the engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual and company process requirements and standards.
• Participate in the software change control process boards
• Moderate travel may be required to support program activities and auditing software suppliers.
• Mentor and train junior employees, as required

Education:
• BS degree required, in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (preferred)

Performs technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

This role will focus on verifying total system performance using high fidelity 6-DOF simulations. Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and post processing large datasets is desired.


What You'll be doing:
-Prepared Detailed Verification plans for total system performance against system requirements using high fidelity simulations
-Initiate and monitor the generation of large Monte Carlo data sets to support performance verification
-Prepare post-run performance analysis; including identifying areas of performance deficiency and areas of unexplained changes

Basic Required Qualifications:
-Minimum of interim clearance to start, final Secret preferred. Clearance required at time of submittal.
-STEM Bachelor's degree with experience analyzing large data sets or statistics
-8+ years experience with 6-DOF Simulation setup/output analysis
-8+ years experience writing scripts/source code to process large amounts of data
-8+ years experience with Technical Communication; reporting summaries of Monte Carlo performance to technical communities

Job Description
The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team within the Specialty Engineering Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrating state of the art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. TEE has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and post-production sustainment. This position is focused on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as a part of on-site factory support of systems to support weapon system product development. The selected candidate will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the software style, development language, and integrated development environment specified by the organization. The selected candidate will contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production equipment, environments, and systems. As such, the candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of product development for the company weapon system products. They will be expected to work, either as a part of a team or independently, to design, develop, and implement system level applications in support of producing and maintaining weapon system products.

-STEM degree with min 5yrs industry experience or 3 years plus advanced degree
HT and Rockey Mountain Basic (RMB) skills required.
Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio in a Windows Operating System (OS) Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation
Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment
Develop and derive requirements for software products
Lead and mentor junior software engineers
Develop computer architectures and computer hardware optimization techniques Develop software drivers for the operation of computer hardware interfaces Work with common computer hardware interfaces and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422
Utilize Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize software architecture and design
Work within software development lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile Practice sound Software Configuration Management principles using Microsoft Azure DevOps Server or GitHub
