Production Planner / Scheduler

Description:
The Production Planner / Scheduler is responsible for owning and improving the Open Order Report (OOR) and day-to-day production schedule for our aerospace composites operation. This hands-on role will first standardize and overhaul the existing Excel-based scheduling and tracking process to create accurate, timely, and accessible visibility into order status, priorities, capacity, and delivery commitments. Once the manual process is reliable, this individual will evaluate and recommend practical MRP/ERP solutions that can further improve planning efficiency.

Required
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
3 or more years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and effective production trackers or dashboards
Demonstrated experience improving manual scheduling processes and maintaining accurate, actionable production schedules
Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a high-mix, fast-changing, small-company manufacturing environment
Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and shop-floor collaboration skills
