Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Lancaster, NY.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Significant experience on project scheduling and management
Significant experience using project scheduling software (MS Project)
Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications
Product Design Experience
5+ year Project Manager Experience or similar
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading project planning sessions
Coordinating cross-functional contributions and maintaining dashboards
Managing project progress and adapting work as required
Ensuring projects meet schedule requirements
Managing relationships with Program Managers1 (when applicable) and stakeholders
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Developing and monitoring a risk mitigation plan
Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
Following correct procedures and guidelines (Group Recommended Practices)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Accredited Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field PMP Certification or similar training
