Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Microelectronic Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o High School diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience.
o Able to lift 30-40 pounds.
o Computer-literate.
o Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Microelectronic Technician 2 to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department you'll get to work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers.

Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of duties to support the research and development of new microelectronic, opto-electronic, micro-electromechanical and sensor manufacturing processes, devices, components, or systems, semiconductors, semiconductor-based integrated analog or digital circuits, micro-electromechanical systems, sensors systems, and related technologies. Develops and applies inspection and test procedures for micro-components and micro-systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Semiconductor Wafer handling.
o Cleanroom experience.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
o High School Diploma/GED is required.
o School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 workweek. This position will serve on-site at Manhattan Beach, CA.
