Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Moorestown, NJ.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): This position requires the ability to work in an accelerated team environment where many team members are remotely located. The candidate is expected to develop a deep understanding of our product. • Proficient in DOORS. • Experience with requirements development, understanding of system architecture, integration, and verification. • Ability to interpret schematics, ICDs, and engineering documentation. • Ability to produce engineering documentation based on system design and customer specifications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: We in Controls & Automation Products department provide essential control system capabilities that enable shipboard operations across a variety of platforms and customers. This position will be responsible for the following: Performs system integration, verification and validation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, requirements design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School/GED.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time; 4/10-1st Shift.
