Position Details

• Job Title: Maintenance and Repair Worker
  
• Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
  
• Job Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract
  
• Shift: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
  
• Pay Rate: $24.37 per hour
  
• Overtime: Consistent and encouraged overtime opportunities, including weekends

In this role, you'll help repair and restore critical aviation components that contribute directly to aircraft performance and passenger safety. Your work will play an important part in keeping aircraft operating efficiently and safely for travelers worldwide.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance and Repair Worker, you will:

• Perform inspections of incoming assemblies and components using established procedures and technical specifications.
  
• Set up repair and testing equipment and facilities.
  
• Conduct operational checkouts, testing, and calibration of parts and mechanical systems.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair units that fail testing or fall outside tolerance specifications.
  
• Complete modifications and corrective repairs as required.
  
• Assemble fabricated parts, components, and units at designated workstations.
  
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform assembly and repair tasks.
  
• Support efficient turnaround times while maintaining strict quality standards.
  
• Follow safety procedures and quality requirements at all times.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
  

Required Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in repair and maintenance work.
  
• Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
  
• Must be able to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
  
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, mechanical repair, automotive maintenance, or technical trades.
  
• Experience working with testing, calibration, or troubleshooting equipment.
  
• Familiarity with aviation, aerospace, industrial, or mechanical environments.
  
• Technical training, certification, or vocational education in a related field.
