Position Details

Job Title: Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80916

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (6 Months)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | 5/40 Schedule

Pay Rate: $24.61 per hour

As a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk, you'll help ensure that critical aviation materials, parts, and products are accurately received, tracked, stored, and shipped. Your attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy will support efficient operations, timely deliveries, and the uninterrupted flow of materials that keep aviation programs running smoothly.

In this role, you'll be a key contributor to supply chain excellence and operational success.

What You'll Do

Shipping & Receiving Operations

• Verify and maintain records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and merchandise.
  
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
  
• Coordinate transportation arrangements for outgoing products and materials.
  

Inventory Management

• Track inventory movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
  
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipment documentation.
  
• Assist in identifying inventory discrepancies and resolving issues.
  
• Support inventory accuracy through proper recordkeeping and organization.
  

Material Handling & Logistics

• Prepare products, materials, and merchandise for shipment.
  
• Package and label shipments according to established procedures.
  
• Ensure materials are properly stored and handled to maintain quality and traceability.
  
• Assist with moving inventory and organizing stock locations as needed.
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  
• Process transactions within inventory management systems and databases.
  
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  
• Communicate shipping and inventory updates with team members and stakeholders.
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  
• Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics support.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
  
• Ability to maintain organized records and track inventory transactions.
  
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or shipping systems.
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.
  
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and shipping documentation.
  
• Experience with warehouse management or inventory tracking systems.
  
• Familiarity with material handling equipment and warehouse operations.
  
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  
• Experience coordinating freight or transportation logistics.
