Position Details

Job Title: Project Planner Scheduler

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (6 Months)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: Starting at $43.27/hour

As a Project Planner Scheduler, you will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and coordinating integrated project plans and schedules that support critical aviation programs. Your expertise will help ensure project milestones are achieved, risks are mitigated, stakeholders remain informed, and program objectives stay on schedule.

What You'll Do

Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare, develop, and coordinate integrated project plans, schedules, and schedule-related deliverables.
  
• Support the integration of program plans and schedules across multiple functional groups, product teams, suppliers, and partners.
  
• Maintain accurate project schedules and ensure alignment with established program baselines.
  
• Coordinate work statements and resulting project schedules.
  

Program Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze schedule performance and produce planning metrics.
  
• Monitor program status, customer commitments, supplier deliverables, and compliance requirements.
  
• Identify schedule variances and prepare reports detailing project status and change impacts.
  
• Develop, collect, organize, and maintain program data to support planning activities.
  

Change & Risk Management

• Participate in reviews of proposed baseline changes.
  
• Assist in evaluating schedule, budget, and work statement changes to determine impacts on program schedules.
  
• Support schedule-related risk and opportunity analysis.
  
• Assist with risk assessments, mitigation planning, and business case refinement.
  
• Help resolve critical path and network logic conflicts and identify downstream impacts requiring replanning.
  

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate schedule updates, change impacts, and recovery plans to project teams and stakeholders.
  
• Ensure schedule documentation remains current and properly controlled through revision management.
  
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic decision-making through accurate planning data and reporting.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and typically 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• Proficiency with program scheduling software and planning tools.
  
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following:
  
  
  
  • Open Plan Professional (OPP)
    
  • Microsoft Project Professional
    
  • Milestones Professional
    
  
  
  
• Experience supporting integrated project schedules in a complex program environment.
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders while managing competing priorities.
  
• Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
  
• Current experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP) strongly preferred.
  
• Experience with Primavera scheduling software.
  
• Background in aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or other highly regulated industries.
  
• Experience supporting schedule risk analysis, critical path management, and change control processes.
