Job Type: Full-Time | Contract (12 Months)

Location: Warner Robins, GA 31088

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $17.23 per hour

Your Impact

As an Engineering Technician, you will support the repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of sophisticated electronic and electronic warfare systems used in mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. Your expertise will help ensure high-performance equipment remains operational, reliable, and ready to support those who depend on it.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with electronics, troubleshooting complex assemblies, and performing detailed technical work in a fast-paced production and repair environment.

What You'll Do

Build, Repair, and Maintain Critical Systems

• Perform assembly, repair, modification, and maintenance of electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  
• Fabricate, repair, and modify cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and complex electronic systems.
  
• Repair and replace components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  
• Support the repair, modification, and fabrication of Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
  

Work with Precision and Quality

• Follow detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  
• Perform continuity testing and quality checks on in-process and completed assemblies.
  
• Conduct inspection points in accordance with established quality standards and specifications.
  
• Disassemble, rework, modify, and reassemble prototype and production assemblies as required.
  

Troubleshoot and Support Production Operations

• Properly utilize test and measurement equipment, hand tools, power tools, and specialized tooling.
  
• Identify and maintain required tools, supplies, and resources to support a safe and efficient work environment.
  
• Assist in troubleshooting electronic assemblies and ensuring products meet operational requirements.
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
• J-Standard Certification (Required).
  
• Ability to obtain all required soldering certifications and complete associated training requirements.
  
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  
• Ability to work effectively within established procedures and specifications.
  
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance. 
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience repairing, modifying, fabricating, or assembling complex electronic systems.
  
• Experience repairing circuit cards, wiring harnesses, line replaceable units, or shop replaceable units.
  
• Experience using controlled engineering drawings and work instructions.
  
• Familiarity with military-grade connectors, pins, tooling, and repair techniques.
  
• Ability to assemble and disassemble electronic assemblies using technical orders, detailed drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
  
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or other highly regulated technical environments.
