What You'll Do

As a Supply Chain Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement and supply chain activities while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement activities for assigned suppliers, including sourcing, competitive bidding, purchase order management, negotiations, and supplier performance oversight.
  
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with quality, cost, delivery, and business objectives.
  
• Analyze supplier pricing, procurement data, market conditions, and cost drivers to identify cost-saving opportunities and support sourcing decisions.
  
• Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bid packages, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments.
  
• Monitor ERP/MRP systems, procurement requirements, lead times, safety stock levels, and planning parameters to ensure material availability.
  
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving delivery performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams to resolve shortages, supplier concerns, invoice discrepancies, and supply chain challenges.
  
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, delivery delays, demand fluctuations, and production disruptions.
  
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve recurring supplier and procurement issues.
  
• Create procurement metrics, dashboards, management reports, and presentations while supporting audits, recovery plans, and production readiness reviews.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain operations, purchasing, or supplier management.
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement data, pricing trends, and supply chain metrics.
  
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning concepts.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated industries.
  
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier performance management.
  
• Experience conducting RFPs, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments.
  
• Familiarity with inventory management, demand planning, and production support environments.
  
• APICS, CPSM, or other supply chain-related certifications are a plus.
