Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift (5/40 Schedule)

Pay Rate: $20.87 per hour

As a Production Worker supporting quality and inspection operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring aviation components meet exact specifications, customer requirements, and industry quality standards. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, reliability, and performance expected throughout the aviation industry.

What You'll Do

Quality Inspection & Verification

• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to support inspections throughout the production process.
  
• Perform incoming, in-process, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), IOS updates, and final inspections.
  
• Verify that materials and assemblies meet blueprint specifications, tolerances, customer requirements, and company procedures.
  
• Conduct visual inspections using IOS books, source files, and reference materials to confirm product conformity.
  

Measurement & Testing

• Interpret blueprints, technical data, drawings, and manuals to determine inspection requirements and testing procedures.
  
• Verify part conformity using inspection equipment such as:
  
  
  
  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
    
  • Keyence measurement systems
    
  • Optical comparators
    
  • Precision gauges and fixtures
    
  
  
  
• Review and validate new CMM programs for proper setup and compliance.
  

Documentation & Systems Support

• Complete and review inspection records, routers, and quality documentation for accuracy.
  
• Enter inspection results, transactions, and production data into SAP.
  
• Complete electronic and paper documentation, including inspection reports, test data, and turnback forms.
  
• Ensure all records are complete and compliant with quality standards.
  

Continuous Improvement & Team Support

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
  
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and prioritize work.
  
• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), quality, and operational procedures.
  
• Support business needs through overtime or extended shifts when required.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Experience in manufacturing, production, quality inspection, or a related environment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Basic computer skills and experience documenting inspection results.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production goals.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating or supporting Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  
• Familiarity with Keyence systems, optical comparators, and precision measuring equipment.
  
• SAP experience or other manufacturing ERP systems.
  
• Aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or quality assurance experience.
  
• Knowledge of First Article Inspections (FAIRs) and quality control processes.
  
• Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing experience.
