PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Material Expeditor to support a leading aviation manufacturer in Clearwater, FL. In this critical role, you'll ensure materials, parts, and components are where they need to be, when they need to be there, helping production teams meet schedules and deliver excellence.

What You'll Do

As a Material Expeditor, you'll play a vital role in coordinating material flow and supporting production schedules by:

• Expediting, routing, and dispatching materials and parts according to production schedules and delivery commitments.
  
• Reviewing master production schedules to identify actual and potential material shortages.
  
• Communicating potential supply or scheduling issues to the appropriate teams and stakeholders.
  
• Generating and maintaining progress reports on schedule status and production timelines.
  
• Tracking and documenting completed orders and material movements.
  
• Taking proactive action to expedite required materials, including coordinating repairs of damaged materials and facilitating internal transportation.
  
• Reporting completion dates, schedule modifications, material substitutions, and shortages.
  
• Collaborating with production, inventory, logistics, and supply chain teams to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow efficiency.
  
• Helping ensure production commitments are met through timely problem identification and resolution.
  

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Experience in manufacturing, production control, logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or material expediting.
  
• Ability to interpret production schedules and track material requirements.
  
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data tracking systems.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or production planning systems.
  
• Experience coordinating material flow within a production environment.
  
• Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain best practices.
