PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading organization in the aviation industry to hire a dedicated Material Expeditor in Clearwater, FL. Position: Material Expeditor

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Shift: Second Shift | 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Your Impact

As a Material Expeditor, you'll be at the center of production operations, ensuring materials and parts are available when and where they're needed. Your ability to monitor schedules, identify shortages, and coordinate timely solutions will directly support manufacturing success and help deliver high-quality aviation products on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Expedite, route, and dispatch materials and parts according to production schedules and customer commitments
  
• Review master production schedules to identify actual and potential material shortages
  
• Communicate supply concerns and production risks to the appropriate teams and stakeholders
  
• Generate and maintain progress reports related to schedule status and production milestones
  
• Track and document completed orders and material movement activities
  
• Coordinate actions to expedite materials, including arranging repairs for damaged parts and facilitating in-house material transportation
  
• Monitor completion dates, material substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications
  
• Collaborate with production, planning, inventory, and logistics teams to support operational goals
  
• Help minimize production delays through proactive problem-solving and effective communication
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience in material coordination, expediting, production support, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  
• Ability to analyze production schedules and identify potential bottlenecks or shortages
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records and reports
  
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry tasks
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, defense, or other manufacturing operations
  
• Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, or supply chain processes
  
• Experience working with ERP or manufacturing systems
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  
• Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple departments
  
• Proven ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
