Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Technician for a contract opportunity in Ventura, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors. '
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility. These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): An AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is highly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25lbs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelor's Degree or Accredited Master's Degree.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time, 5/40-1st Shift.
