Job Title: Laboratory Technician 

Location: Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Job Type: Full-Time Contract (12 Months)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9/80 Work Schedule

Pay Rate: $38.18 per hour

What You'll Do

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll support the Integration & Test team by ensuring laboratory equipment, tools, and test environments are fully operational and ready for critical testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track test equipment assets, maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation.
  
• Serve as a key contact for day-to-day engineering laboratory operations and readiness activities.
  
• Coordinate repairs for malfunctioning or damaged test equipment, including service requests and status tracking.
  
• Schedule and coordinate calibration, maintenance, and repair activities for tools and test equipment.
  
• Prepare test setups by staging hardware and configuring fixtures, cabling, and instrumentation.
  
• Support engineers during test execution to help ensure accurate data collection and efficient workflows.
  
• Maintain organized and compliant test areas, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of equipment.
  
• Communicate equipment status, calibration schedules, and operational issues to engineers and test leads.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, and program teams to anticipate upcoming test requirements and ensure laboratory readiness.
  

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience
  
• Experience working in an engineering laboratory, testing environment, or manufacturing setting
  
• Ability to accurately follow written procedures, engineering instructions, and safety requirements
  
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, test equipment, and mechanical/electrical hardware
  
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment in a laboratory or shop environment
  
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and other standard computer applications
  
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, California
  
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
  

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will stand out:

• Technical coursework or vocational training in electronics, mechanics, or engineering technology
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical or mechanical schematics, drawings, and test procedures
  
• Experience supporting the setup and execution of testing on complex systems
  
• Experience troubleshooting legacy Windows operating systems and Linux environments
  
• Knowledge of ESD handling requirements, laboratory safety practices, and test lab best practices
