Systems Application Analyst 2

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Application Analyst 2 for a hybrid contract position in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field + 2-5 years in Application Administration. Master’s Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
• Windows Support
• Application Support
• Vulnerability remediation
• Experience with Windows Server OS administration, Linux, networking, maintenance and patch remediation.
• Evaluate, Install, configure, patch, applications
• Understanding of Active Directory groups, folder permissions, application permissions
• PPE will be provided.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
• Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
• Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM. Position is hybrid, but candidate must be local to Newport News and surrounding areas.
