Are you a skilled machinist who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Machinist to support a leader in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on role, you’ll program, set up, and operate advanced CNC and manual equipment to produce high-quality aerospace components where accuracy and reliability are critical.

What You’ll Do
Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, lathes, routers, lasers, and manual milling machines.
Program new parts using CAM software, Catia or equivalent tools, and read or write G-code.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate machining.
Machine aerospace materials, including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, and other specialty materials.
Select cutting tools, establish machining sequences, set tool offsets, and create setup instructions.
Review CAD designs and create or modify DXF and GNH files using EnRoute or Gravostyle software.
Inspect finished components using precision measurement techniques, first-article inspections, and statistical process control (SPC).
Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and adjust settings to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
Perform deburring and finishing operations while following ISO-compliant documentation and procedures.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shop leadership to resolve machining challenges and meet production requirements.
Maintain strict adherence to safety, security, and quality standards.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of documented CNC and manual machining experience.
At least 5 years of experience working in a machine or fabrication shop.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC and manual machining equipment.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Strong understanding of machining tools, offsets, inspection methods, and dimensional tolerances.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining.
Familiarity with CATIA or equivalent CAD/CAM programming software and G-code.
Experience machining aerospace-grade materials, including titanium and stainless steel.
Knowledge of EnRoute, Gravostyle, DXF, and GNH file creation or editing.
Familiarity with ISO-compliant processes, first-article inspection, and SPC.
Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and communication skills.
