Location: Rocky Mount, NC | Payrate: $40/hour | Schedule: 1st shift.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll play an important role in advancing yield improvement initiatives for the F414 EFC and EHSV product lines, helping enhance first-pass yield, reduce turnaround times, and strengthen operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Research and evaluate repair development requirements, processes, and procedures.
Review regulatory compliance requirements for materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify solutions that reduce turnaround time (TAT) and improve first-pass yield (FPY).
Develop and update technical publications, overhaul repair instructions, repair procedures, and inspection instructions.
Evaluate technical equivalencies for materials, tools, and equipment used in repair and overhaul operations.
Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers performing overhaul repairs.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred:
Experience in mechanical design, aerospace engineering, or repair and overhaul operations.
Familiarity with technical publications, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience reducing process turnaround times or improving product quality and yield.
