Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager 2 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): o High School Diploma and 7 years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience or Master's degree or above and 1 year of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: o Track and maintain liens and products to ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements. o Monitor project schedules, update progress data, and communicate schedule impacts or changes to the project team. o Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers, dashboards, and reports to support project controls and management visibility. o Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect status updates and validate data accuracy. o Assist in preparing project progress reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. o Identify potential delays or gaps in documentation and escalate as needed. o Ensure proper document organization, version control, and record management consistent with company standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): o Project lead to support Frigate Contract to monitor project schedules, update progress data, and communicate schedule impacts or changes to the project team. o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, conditional formatting, dashboards. o Experience with project controls, scheduling, engineering documentation preferred. o Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time 5/40, workweek.
