PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading utility company to hire a Power Apps Developer to design, build, and support enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This is an opportunity to transform business processes, modernize legacy applications, and deliver secure, scalable technology that makes a real impact across the organization. 

What You’ll Do 

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Power Apps canvas and model-driven applications. 

• Build automated workflows, approvals, and business processes using Power Automate. 

• Design Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and data models. 

• Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Microsoft Graph, and other Microsoft 365 services. 

• Develop standard and custom connectors, REST API integrations, and on-premises gateway connections. 

• Evaluate legacy applications, forms, and workflows for migration to Power Platform. 

• Translate business requirements into technical designs, solutions, and development backlogs. 

• Apply ALM practices using solutions, environments, source control, pipelines, and managed deployments. 

• Develop reusable components using Power Fx, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, HTML, REST APIs, and PCF when needed. 

• Implement security, governance, DLP, and secure development practices. 

• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, monitor performance, and provide production support. 

• Create technical documentation, deployment records, support procedures, and knowledge articles. 

• Collaborate with architects, administrators, business analysts, citizen developers, and support teams. 

Required & Preferred Qualifications 

What You Bring 

• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. 

• Knowledge of canvas and model-driven app development. 

• Experience building Power Automate cloud flows, approvals, error handling, and monitoring. 

• Understanding of Microsoft 365 integrations, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft Graph. 

• Experience with Power Fx, connectors, custom connectors, REST APIs, and integration design. 

• Knowledge of Power Platform solutions, environments, connection references, environment variables, and deployment pipelines. 

• Understanding of ALM, source control, testing, release management, and deployment practices. 

• Knowledge of security, governance, DLP, accessibility, performance, and supportability. 

• Experience with requirements analysis, troubleshooting, technical documentation, and customer support. 

• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. 

Preferred Experience 

• Microsoft Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault, Service Bus, Application Insights, and Entra ID. 

• Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control, work tracking, builds, and deployment pipelines. 

• Power Apps Component Framework (PCF), Dataverse plug-ins, or other pro-code extensions. 

• Power Platform CLI and Visual Studio Code. 

• C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, HTML, and RESTful APIs. 

• Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or generative AI capabilities within Power Platform. 

• Experience modernizing legacy applications and workflows.
