Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.

Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.

Develops, maintains, enhances, and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations.

Develops, documents, and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.

Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.

Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development.

Develops, establishes, monitors, and improves software processes, tools, and key performance metrics.

Supports software development on agile teams tasked with integrating and implementing solutions onto a platform.

Develops high fidelity simulation and environment software and tool sets for rapid development, test, and deployment.

Resolves problems for the company and suppliers using analytical problem-solving skills and applies engineering knowledge to continuously improve processes and tools.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or other technical degree.

5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer developing using any of the following languages: Ada, C++, C, or C#.

Experience with Weapons software development such as MIL-STD-1760 or UAI.

Experience developing embedded real-time software and hardware.

Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS).

Experience with Agile software development.

Experience with modern software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or Git.

Experience developing models and simulation.
