Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Job Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Assembler in Dallas, TX. If you have Part 145 experience, comparable military aviation experience, or an A&P background and want to put your skills to work on aircraft systems and structural assemblies, this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

As an Assembler, you'll perform complex production assembly work involving structural components, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems. Your precision and attention to detail will directly contribute to the quality, reliability, and safety of aviation products.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Performing complex production assembly operations on structural parts and mechanical assemblies
  
• Assembling aircraft subassemblies, systems, equipment, and accessories
  
• Utilizing manual and automated assembly tools to complete assigned work
  
• Following established production processes, specifications, and safety requirements
  
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
  
• Collaborating with a close-knit team of approximately six employees to meet production objectives
  
• Supporting an FAA safety-sensitive work environment
  

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have at least one of the following:

• Previous Part 145 experience
  
• Comparable military aviation experience
  
• A&P license
  

Candidates coming directly from A&P school may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current A&P license
  
• Previous experience with SAP
  
• Hands-on aircraft maintenance, repair, assembly, or production experience
