Redesign work content, station assignments, and workflows to improve productivity.
Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize manufacturing processes.
Continuous Improvement
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Carrier Excellence initiatives across the facility.
Facilitate Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, A3 problem-solving, and root-cause investigations.
Drive productivity projects supporting annual operating plans and cost-reduction targets.
Develop and implement visual management systems and performance metrics.
Validate project savings and ensure improvements remain sustainable.
Factory Layout & Material Flow
Design and maintain manufacturing layouts that support operational efficiency.
Optimize material presentation and point-of-use inventory strategies.
Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to improve material flow and reduce handling waste.
Analyze facility utilization and recommend future-state layouts.
Data Analytics & Performance Measurement
Analyze production data, downtime trends, labor utilization, and throughput performance.
Build dashboards and reporting tools to monitor operational performance.
Use statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Establish and monitor performance metrics that identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational goals.
Support new product introductions through labor planning, capacity assessments, and process design.
Participate in capital projects and manufacturing-readiness reviews.
