PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated Product Repair/Modification Technician to join our team in Mesa, AZ, partnering with a leader in the aviation industry.

In this hands-on role, you'll help repair, modify, and assemble AH-64 mechanical components while supporting the troubleshooting, testing, and fabrication of aerospace systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure components are repaired and modified to exact specifications.

What You'll Do

As a Product Repair/Modification Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Repair, modify, and assemble AH-64 mechanical components.
  
• Assist with the disassembly of system components to correct failures or implement modifications.
  
• Support basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to help identify mechanical or electrical faults.
  
• Assist with repairing or replacing faulty components.
  
• Perform validation and verification testing on systems and components.
  
• Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to established specifications.
  
• Assist with the safe handling of aerospace vehicles, including activities such as jacking, towing, and system operations.
  
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
  
• Complete required certification training, including Torque, Safetying Practices, Mixing, and Sealant.
  
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  
• Perform assigned tasks under appropriate supervision while developing technical knowledge and experience.
  

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent basic education.
  
• Ability to read and write proficiently in English.
  
• Ability to successfully complete required certification classes, including:
  
  
  
  • Torque
    
  • Safetying Practices
    
  • Mixing
    
  • Sealant
    
  
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
  
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety and quality procedures.
  
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on assembly, repair, and modification work.
  

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates may stand out with:

• Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or repair.
  
• Experience working with mechanical components or assemblies.
  
• Exposure to pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
  
• Experience reading technical instructions, specifications, or work documentation.
  
• Familiarity with aerospace tooling, torque requirements, sealants, or safetying practices.
  
• A strong quality mindset and willingness to learn new technical processes.
