JOB TITLE: Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

PAY RATE: $54.46/hour

Summary:

    Provides manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyroscopes (RLG), specifically glass machining.

    Performs yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.

    Utilizes CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.

    Investigates and resolves technical issues and facilitates issue identification and analysis.

    Develops improvements in product design and manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.

    Supports knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.

    Facilitates a self-driven workforce culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

    Tests products and software.

    Completes failure analysis, manufacturing assembly, and test on returned goods.

    Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    Bachelor's Degree in STEM field.

    5+ years of experience in manufacturing, test, fabrication, or assembly processes.

    Experience with glass machining for Ring Laser Gyroscopes.

    Experience performing yield and performance data analysis.

    Experience utilizing CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

    Experience investigating and resolving technical issues.

    Experience developing improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.

    Experience completing failure analysis and manufacturing assembly on returned goods.

    Knowledge of RCCA, Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA tools and methodologies.
