POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Aeronautical Engineer you will be responsible for driving the integration and design synthesis of Special Mission programs while collaborating across a multi-disciplinary team. Help lead integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation. Support and conduct multi-disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost. Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply-chain teams to ensure smooth production operations. Generate and present technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders. Mentor early-career engineers and champion One-LM culture across cross-functional teams. You are a collaborative engineer with deep expertise in system integration and a proven track record in leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Your communication skills enable you to influence diverse teams and mentor the next generation of talent. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven to deliver innovative solutions that have real impact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience working with LM BAs Experience interacting with suppliers, external customers and Production Operation MRB coordination and support Experience with hand stress analysis Experience with hypersonic boost-glide systems
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelors or above Degree in an Engineering Discipline.
