Description:
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Stress Analyst to support aircraft modification and certification programs. This is a contract position supporting structural analysis and substantiation of primary and secondary aircraft structures, with a strong emphasis on classical aerospace stress analysis methods.
The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, developing substantiation approaches, performing detailed structural analysis, and preparing engineering documentation suitable for aircraft certification.
There is potential for this to be done remotely.
Minimum of 3+ years of structural stress analysis experience.
Strong working knowledge of classical aerospace stress analysis methods.
Experience supporting aircraft structural modification, certification requirements is highly desirable.
Education: BS or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Candidate must be considered a US Person.
