Location: Dallas, TX | Pay Rate: $24.50/hour | Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 1am) 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace company to find an Interior Installation Technician ready to put their hands-on skills to work in a world-class aviation environment. About the Role 

As an Interior Installation Technician, you’ll work under close supervision to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components. Your work will directly support the completion and quality of aircraft interiors, ensuring every installation meets work-order requirements, company procedures, and applicable aviation standards. 

What You’ll Do 

• Safely remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interior components, including: 

• Galleys 

• Closets 

• Lavatories 

• Side ledges 

• Bulkheads 

• Doors 

• Vanity ledge fill panels 

• Complete fit and installation tasks according to work-order instructions, specifications, and quality requirements. 

• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA documentation requirements, sign-offs, and quality specifications. 

• Use the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, and complete required paperwork. 

• Safely operate and properly maintain tools and equipment, including: 

• Hand tools 

• Band saws 

• Shears 

• Sanders 

• Brakes 

• Properly care for shop equipment and tools. 

• Follow all safety, 5S, housekeeping, and PPE requirements. 

• Identify and address unsafe conditions before they create a risk to people or property. 

• Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing, which may include flight tests as required. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What You Bring 

Must-Have Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED required. 

• Applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience. 

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. 

• Ability to work any shift. 

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in small or restricted areas. 

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. 

• Basic computer literacy. 

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Trade school or technical training in installation, fabrication, aviation, manufacturing, or a related field. 

• Previous experience working with aircraft interiors or in an aerospace/manufacturing environment. 

• Experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment. 

• Familiarity with 5S, quality procedures, and regulated work environments.
