Salary Range: $70K-$80K DOE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Process Coordinator to provide quality excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet stringent quality standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and lead efforts to maintain an effective Quality Management System. Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and support all aspects of the Quality Management System, including maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key quality performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management, and customers to resolve quality concerns and drive improvements.
• Lead supplier quality activities, including audits, corrective actions, and non-conformance investigations.
• Perform inspections and quality evaluations using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, gauges, Faro Arm systems, CMMs, and laser measurement tools.
• Verify products, components, and raw materials meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Calibrate and maintain testing and inspection equipment according to established procedures and standards.
• Analyze test data, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with engineers, technicians, and production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
• 4+ years of quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership, project leadership, or team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Experience conducting supplier audits, managing non-conformances, and driving corrective actions.
• Proficiency with precision measurement and inspection equipment, including CMMs, Faro Arms, micrometers, gauges, and laser measurement systems.
• Advanced GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) expertise, including the ability to interpret and communicate form, fit, and function requirements.
• Experience with CMM programming, operation, and quality control processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence quality outcomes across multiple departments.
Desired Qualifications:
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Process Improvement training and experience.
• Experience in metal stamping, fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of Poly-Works and/or PC-DMIS software.
• Proven track record of implementing quality improvements that drive measurable business results.
