PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team supporting a leader in the aviation industry in Clearwater, Florida.

Your expertise will directly support production schedules, product reliability, and the delivery of high-quality electronic systems.

What You'll Do

As an Electronics Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Set up test apparatus and conduct testing of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units according to established procedures, standards, and sequences.
  
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to the component level.
  
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams to isolate failures within analog and digital circuitry.
  
• Lay out and assemble production electronic equipment according to engineering designs and specifications.
  
• Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as necessary.
  
• Diagnose malfunctions and make adjustments or replace parts and components as directed.
  
• Use hand tools, small power tools, and specialized electronic testing and measurement equipment.
  
• Operate equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency standards, and signal generators.
  
• Determine appropriate testing methods and analyze results to evaluate product and equipment performance.
  
• Identify and recommend modifications to testing equipment, products, or manufacturing processes.
  
• Partner with engineers in the design and development of test procedures for new products.
  
• Support quality verification activities using established statistical process and control procedures.
  
• Accurately document maintenance and testing activities using Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs.
  
• Work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high levels of quality and productivity in support of customer schedules.
  

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent, combined with specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical or para-engineering tasks.
  
• At least 1 year of experience testing electronic assemblies.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state and digital circuits.
  
• Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry.
  
• Ability to interpret schematics and isolate failures within analog and digital circuitry.
  
• Proficiency with electronic testing and measurement equipment.
  
• Experience with flying probe and/or high-power testing.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and other data collection applications used to document maintenance actions.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  
• Ability to perform at a high level within a dynamic production environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

Stand out from the crowd with:

• Familiarity with radar systems.
  
• Experience with Vibration and Thermal Environmental Stress Screening (ESS).
  
• ESS experience involving both circuit card assemblies and subassemblies.
  
• Additional electronics, electrical, or technical education and training.
