PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to support a leading organization in the aviation industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on electronics professional who thrives on solving technical challenges. You'll test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and evaluate sophisticated electronic assemblies, including circuit card assemblies and RF circuits. What You'll Do

As an Electronics Technician, you will:

• Set up test apparatus and conduct testing on electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units according to established procedures, standards, and sequences.
  
• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to the component level.
  
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams to identify and isolate failures within analog and digital circuitry.
  
• Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to established designs and specifications.
  
• Adjust and calibrate electronic assembly systems as required.
  
• Diagnose malfunctions and correct issues by making adjustments or replacing parts and components.
  
• Use hand tools, small power tools, and specialized electronic testing and measurement equipment.
  
• Work with equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency standards, and signal generators.
  
• Determine appropriate tests and analyze test results to evaluate product and equipment performance.
  
• Identify and recommend potential modifications to testing equipment, products, or manufacturing processes.
  
• Partner with engineers to help develop test procedures for new products and recommend product or manufacturing improvements.
  
• Support quality verification activities in accordance with statistical process controls and other established procedures.
  
• Accurately document testing and maintenance activities using Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs.
  
• Maintain a high level of productivity and quality while supporting demanding customer and production schedules.
  

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated technical or para-engineering capabilities.
  
• At least 1 year of direct experience testing electronic assemblies.
  
• Strong electrical and electronics troubleshooting skills.
  
• Experience troubleshooting and testing electronic circuit cards.
  
• Proficiency in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state and digital circuits.
  
• Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry.
  
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and isolate circuit failures.
  
• Proficiency with electronic measurement and diagnostic equipment.
  
• Flying probe and/or high-power test experience.
  
• Basic computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Suite and data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

You'll stand out if you also have:

• Familiarity with radar systems.
  
• Experience with Vibration Environmental Stress Screening (ESS).
  
• Experience with Thermal ESS testing.
  
• Vibration and thermal ESS experience involving circuit card assemblies and subassemblies.
  
• Additional specialized education or technical training in electronics, electrical technology, or a related field.
