Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Conducts research and development activities involving vacuum systems and gas management.

Applies research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities.

Summarizes research results and communicates findings to internal and external bodies.

Leads and directs the work of others in research activities.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Reports to top management.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

3-5 years of experience in vacuum systems and gas management or a related area.

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Experience conducting experiments and research activities.

Experience summarizing research results and communicating findings.

Ability to lead and direct the work of others.

Ability to plan and accomplish goals with creativity and latitude.

May require a graduate degree.
