Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Candidate must have STEM degree at Bachelor level or above.
• Candidate must have at least 3 year of experience with interpret drawings and specifications for development of Quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products.
• Candidate must have at least 3 year of experience with doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Candidate must have at least 3 year of experience with with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Quality Engineer in the Sensors Integration and Test Center, you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across design, production, and supplier domains, ensuring that products meet rigorous standards and customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs.
• Lead product failure investigations and material review board decisions.
• Develop and implement quality improvement strategies for internal and supplier performance.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, including statistical analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black belt certifications.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and controls.
• Experience performing First Article Inspections IAW AS9102
• Experience with automated processes and robotic
technologies.
• Knowledge and/or experience working to the requirements of Industry recognized Quality Systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS) regulations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Accredited STEM degree at Bachelor's level or above.

• 4/10-1st Shift
