Help Power the Next Generation of Aerospace Control Systems as a Systems Engineer!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to support advanced aerospace control systems used in gas turbine engines and other critical applications. This role combines production support, systems integration, engineering change management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure electronic control products meet demanding performance, quality, and customer requirements.

You'll support products including Electronic Control Units (ECUs), Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), and Cabin Pressure Systems while partnering with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, and program teams.

What You'll Do

Production & Engineering Support

• Investigate and resolve production and factory support issues.
  
• Develop and release Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  
• Evaluate and substantiate engineering design changes.
  
• Support technical troubleshooting and prioritize production needs.
  
• Coordinate solutions across Engineering, Certification, Test, Materials, and Configuration Management teams.
  

Design & Systems Integration

• Review and maintain engineering drawings and build-to-print documentation.
  
• Verify supplier designs and components meet engineering requirements.
  
• Reconcile product requirements with customer and system-level requirements.
  
• Support component integration into larger aerospace systems.
  
• Assist with configuration changes, obsolescence management, and drawing revisions.
  

Program & Supplier Coordination

• Serve as a technical liaison with suppliers, customers, and engineering teams.
  
• Coordinate supplier deliverables and program milestones.
  
• Support project planning, scheduling, and component-level execution.
  
• Prepare technical correspondence and responses to engineering inquiries.
  
• Participate in engineering reviews, testing, and product support activities.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in:

  • Electrical Systems Engineering
    
  • Related Engineering Discipline
    
  
  
  
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of systems engineering and the product development lifecycle.
  
• Experience with aerospace electronics or control systems.
