Summary:

Evaluates and selects hardware and software for automated control systems.

Implements and validates upgraded hardware and software into automated control systems.

Implements safety solutions to equipment.

Analyzes data to perform root cause analysis of systemic production issues of automated equipment.

Develops, tests, and evaluates software and hardware changes.

Designs, develops, and supports equipment network technology and cybersecurity.

Develops and releases bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers.

Verifies equipment specifications meet requirements.

Troubleshoots production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.

Maintains and improves data collection systems tracking equipment performance metrics including OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and machine uptime.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

2 or more years of related engineering work experience.

Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working in a production environment.

Preferred: 2 or more years of experience in electrical and electronic systems.

Preferred: Programming experience with C#, Java, Visual Basic, or similar.

Preferred: PLC programming experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc, or similar.

Preferred: Experience in Automated Test Equipment with PXI, PCI, VXI, IEEE-488, RS-485, Can bus.

Preferred: Experience with computer aided design (CAD) with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Catia.

Preferred: Experience administering Windows operating system and proficiency in Microsoft products.
