PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a detail-driven Database Administrator with Planview expertise.

In this role, you'll help ensure critical project and portfolio data is accurate, reliable, and ready to drive decisions. As a key contributor to the CDT PMO, you'll focus on maintaining exceptional data hygiene within Planview while supporting system administration, user needs, reporting, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

Planview Data Quality & Governance

At the heart of this position is ensuring Planview remains a trusted source of information across the PMO. You will:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Planview data hygiene and validation routines
  
• Ensure project, resource, and financial information remains accurate, current, complete, and aligned with governance standards
  
• Identify and correct missing attributes, inaccurate mappings, incomplete project setups, orphan objects, and outdated records
  
• Partner with the senior PMO Operations Analyst to strengthen data governance controls and standardized templates
  
• Maintain high-quality data supporting portfolio health dashboards, resource forecasting, financial reporting, and PMO performance metrics
  
• Develop issue logs and remediation summaries identifying recurring problems and potential systemic solutions
  

User Support & Issue Resolution

You'll also serve as a valuable resource for Planview and AgilePlace users by:

• Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Planview and AgilePlace
  
• Helping users correct data errors and reinforcing PMO data-entry standards
  
• Assisting project managers with timesheet errors, resource assignment mismatches, workflow exceptions, and missing project attributes
  
• Supporting user guidance, micro-training, and playbooks that promote better data practices
  

System Administration & Configuration

Working closely with the senior Planview Administrator, you will:

• Assist with Planview Portfolios enhancements, updates, and workflow modifications
  
• Support customization and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data elements
  
• Prepare validated datasets and conduct structured quality checks
  
• Maintain AgilePlace Kanban boards through cleanup, backlog-grooming support, and workflow-alignment reviews
  
• Help execute standardized PMO processes, tools, and templates
  

Integration & System Reliability

You'll help identify issues before they compromise reporting or decision-making by:

• Monitoring integration data flows involving HRIS, financial feeds, resource files, and Planview
  
• Performing first-level triage to determine whether issues originate upstream or within Planview data
  
• Documenting integration defects and providing clear, structured data validations to senior administrators and IT support teams
  
• Assisting with system patch and release testing to ensure enhancements don't introduce new data-quality issues
  

PMO Reporting & Continuous Improvement

You will also:

• Provide validated data inputs for PMO metrics, health dashboards, and Power BI reporting
  
• Support Planview and AgilePlace operational enhancements
  
• Help improve project planning, performance reporting, and financial management processes
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to streamline PMO tools and increase data quality
  
• Escalate advanced functional or administrative issues to the senior Planview Administrator as appropriate
  

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring:

• 1+ years of Planview Portfolios experience, particularly involving data administration, governance, or data cleanup
  
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for data accuracy, structure, completeness, and consistency
  
• Experience supporting project managers, resource managers, or PMO teams with tool usage and data-entry requirements
  
• Ability to follow detailed governance standards and clearly document findings
  
• Ability to perform repetitive data-validation activities with a consistently high degree of accuracy
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• A customer-service mindset and ability to effectively support end users
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  

Preferred Qualifications

Standout candidates may also bring:

• Familiarity with AgilePlace, Kanban, Agile methodologies, or PMO operations
  
• Experience preparing and validating data for Power BI or Tableau dashboards
  
• Experience working within aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated engineering environment
  
• Exposure to enterprise-level PMO governance frameworks
  
• Experience supporting integrations, reporting processes, or enterprise portfolio-management systems
